Laterlite S.p.A. and AMV s.r.l. have collaborated to produce a guide on designing strengthening solutions for load-bearing walls (piers) using Ruregold FRCM systems, in accordance with CNR-DT215/2018 ver. 30/06/2020 "Instructions for the Design, Execution and Control of Static Consolidation Interventions through the use of Inorganic Matrix Fibre-Reinforced Composites" in MasterSAP and Verifiche Rinforzi.
Verifiche Rinforzi is AMV's software for designing strengthening solutions for existing buildings in reinforced concrete and masonry. The application may either be used in: "stand-alone" mode, for a rapid verification of a specific section of the structural element, or integrated with MasterSap, in which case it interfaces directly with the post-processors to perform the checks on existing buildings in reinforced concrete. – MasterEsist and masonry – MasterMuri. The following information is necessary to implement FRCM systems:
- the equivalent thickness of the mesh;
- the tension and corresponding ultimate deformation of the system;
- the tension and the corresponding conventional limit deformation (different for tufa and brick supports).
